The Berkeley Outreach Coalition is a collaborative group of nine nonprofits established to support food and housing insecure residents of Berkeley. Our mission is to improve the health and living conditions of people experiencing homelessness across Berkeley by streamlining services and advocating to government leaders for improved services at encampments. Our goal is to develop mutually empowering partnerships with our community members and address their needs in a sustainable way.

We provide a variety of resources including legal assistance, harm reduction supplies, health/medical kits, and food.

We are currently advocating to the City of Berkeley for a moratorium on sweeps and evictions, proper handwashing stations, bathrooms, hygiene supplies, and increased funding to continue our work.

In need of essential supplies, access to COVID-19 testing, food or water?

Fill out this form and we will connect you with a volunteer outreach worker or medical team member!

Need the locations of portapotties, handwashing stations, or public bathrooms near you?

Check out this map! Our volunteers drove around Berkeley to obtain the most up-to-date information regarding locations and available hours.
